alarm volume really low on custom file

I'm using a custom file for the alarm. However it plays almost too soft for me to hear. Which is compounded by the fact that I'm using the lumia 1020 default sound which starts pretty quiet and then ramps up.

If I play this track directly in groove it is plenty loud, similarly using this same track on my Android alarm is very loud too.

I am using the same one as you and it is quieter for me too on the Lumia 950.

The exact same file on the 1020 running Windows 10 Mobile is much louder.

It must be the down firing speaker in the 950 causing the issue.

Not using the same file, but I have the same problem on my 635. I have created ringtones from my music. Sounds fine when played in Groove, but can barely heat it over normal conversation levels, never mind in an office.
