Hard Reset Questions

I feel like my Lumia 950 (Fast Ring) is getting kind of sluggish and I am having a couple of issues like I uninstalled PicsArt app and it still shows up, but doesn't open. The store thinks it's still there.

Sooooo, I've decided to just do a hard reset and start over. Questions:

1. Will it restart with the same OS build that I'm currently running or back to where it was when new? If new, am I going to have to update to the latest release version before getting back into Insider Fast Build??

2. After the hard reset, will the Groove Pass recognize my subscription downloads on the SD card or am I going to have to redownload everything? (I'm also considering formatting the SD card, so is there any way to backup what is in the Music folder to just put back??)

Yes on #1.

Not sure on #2. I'm sure someone will let you know on that.

Not sure about #2 but for #1, it's the same OS build you're currently on.

#1. you will have the same OS build unless you use Windows Device Recovery Tool.

Yes to both, at least Groove used to be okay with that. Pretty sure you could just copy the music off the SD Card, format, and then put it back where it's supposed to be, Groove should pick it up fine.

I went ahead and went for it and the Groove files came back with just a few glitches.
