I don't look forward to downgrade my Windows 10 phone. If W8 had the same apps(Facebook Beta,Instagram) I would downgrade for sure.

I dunno, just for edge over IE is way better. Even on my old Lumia 920 and a Lumia 625! Websites generally work better... this is on threshold even! Granted they are not daily usage phones so I wouldn't use it enough to find where it goes wrong but if youtube streams on edge browser then that's a good thing.

So yea... good if you let us know what phone you're using for context.

My 950XL would need to be modified in some way to be able to even install Windows Phone 8.1. In any case, I am not sure I could go back to it now. I am too used to W10M now, problems and all.

correct term is side-grade, I would love to go back to 8.0 actually, and see it get improved instead of reassembled in another way like it ended up doing

idealistically, w10m is way more awesome, but its just a sketch barely resembling what its supposed to be, if it could be w10m while providing the happy experience that 8.0 and 8.1 had, it would rule the world

I'm going to downgrade to windows 8.1 lumia 640 xl because I need badly the kids corner, because I have 3 children under 6, and windows 10 only had that "application area" but works bad, delays, don't function, don't slide...

See you

Oh, man, I missed your post.

8.x just feels old and incomplete. I do like the way the tiles show up on the start page, but that's about it compared to 10.

The keyboard in 10 is smoother and more intuitive than the one in 8.

The settings are just far more organized.

On the same device, Win10 starts up faster than 8.

Outlook mail and calender are both way more consistent and have better customization options.

Fingerprint support

Continuum

Those are a few of the items I can think of. I'm writing this on my Elite x3 on build10.14393 (production) while working with my One M8 running Windows 8.10.14203
