It is pretty lame that even using insiders, that nothing comes through for the Lumia 928. I think it is pretty much a 920 with a better camera that launched exclusively for Verizon. The blame, as usual, probably falls on Verizon. Capable device, so it is a shame to see it left out.

Oh wow we've got a lot of catching up to do for you!

Here are some facts, off the top of my head so feel free to correct me people...

- Microsoft let the Lumia 928 on as one of the supported devices for W10M's early Insider builds.
- The Lumia 928 and most other devices like the 920 were cut off when W10M officially launched. No Insider builds at all.
- 1.5 years later, you post this thread.
While Verizon probably wouldn't have allowed an update, this is all on Microsoft.

The 928 got W10M TH2 via Insider back in 2015. You can hack it today to install W10M RS2 if you want. And it will run dramatically better than on TH2.

I actually recommend doing this than staying on WP8.1.1.

That's what i came here to say its time to upgrade

Sent from Idol 4s

not quite, really, I dont see who anyone can live with it, but the 928 running RS1-2 is pretty much equal to a 640-830 as far as I can see, testing it against my friend's phones, and they seem to be doing fine with those SD400 phones even today

its a matter of perspective I guess, if you get used to a faster phone, you cant simply use the slower one, its like going back to hdd after ssd, you will be pulling your hair at every loading screen, but if you never experience the ssd, you wont care either way until you do
