Stuck on 15063.2

I have a Lumia Icon. I've been on Release Preview ring for a while now and had 14393.1066 and it wouldn't update to the latest build. I read other people had to switch to Fast Ring to get 15063.2 and then switch back to get 15063.251. I was able to get 15063.2, but that's where I'm stuck. I switched back and every attempt fails and gives me 0x80070273 error code. It looks like it attempts to initialize the installation, but it always results in spitting back that error. I attempted a switching to both Slow Ring and Fast Ring, which try and install 15063.138, but it results in the same error. I've tried soft resetting and am trying to avoid a hard reset back to factory. Thoughts? Ideas? And yes, I know, it's an unsupported phone.

Hi, I'm not sure how long ago you tried this, however the fast ring now points to a later build which the Icon isn't eligible for.
If you are currently on 15063.2 and keep getting an error updating, then a hard reset is the only option I can think of.
Failing that you would need to use the Windows Device Recovery Tool.
After the hard reset you would need to go to the Slow ring first and then to the release preview ring to get 15063.251.
Other people may have other suggestions but I am not aware of any other way.
