People App Problems

I was trying to return a phone call today and when I went into my Phone app, my entire call history was gone. Same with my text message history. I looked into my email and all of my accounts except my MS account were gone. I was missing several contacts as well. Now that I have restored all my accounts I have several duplicate contacts. Anyone encounter problems like this before? I have a Lumia 950 XL with the creator's update

No. But the best way to sort this out is to first see what your contact list looks like.

if i ever have any discrepancies with the people app, i always refer to people.live.com.

Example, if you go to people.live.com and do not see the duplicates, then it's probably a setting somewhere on your phone. If you do see the duplicates on people.live.com, then delete them from there. I always think it's better to manage your contact list from people.live.com
