    I have a Lumia 640 dual sim.

Cortana is so slow that it is not usable. It understand when I talk but it stays for a very long time with the white line at the bottom. And when it finally turn to black with the rotating circle nothing happen. it stay like that 4ever.

I would like to be able to use the voice command It would be very useful for me.

    Thank you if can help.

Might be the amount of ram. There's a thread round here somewhere on increasing the app cache size (swap file memory) via interop tools and editing the registry, but it's a bit complicated.

I'm pretty sure the bulk of Cortana's speed is based on how fast the network is.

That's true, its cloud based like all the assistants are. Just sounded like it was also having trouble loading, and I know the 60 only has 1gb of ram.
