GSMArena recently reported that Microsoft has listed the last set of Lumias (950, 950 XL, 650, 550) for sale again sometime this month in the US store. Check out the links in the article here if you wish to buy one. The 950 XL is $499, 950 is $399, 650 is $199, 550 is $139.

Thoughts? Are you going to buy one?

Would love to get a "new" 950XL but not at that price. Just moved to Verizon from AT&T so the HP Elite X3 for Verizon might peak my interest in the next few months.

Whoa! Way waaaay too overpriced IMHO especially considering the state the platform is in, and they are all over two years old to boot. Thanks for sharing though.

Just another moment where Microsoft has me giving my head a shake

Haha. I'm with you on that, I'm surprised that it is that much, especially the 650 and 550. Not even under $100 for the 550?

Yeah I can get that. In my opinion, it's ironic that you can buy a new first gen Pixel XL for only a little more and that's a year old! The price for the Elite x3 is more reasonable...

Here in Canada the nearly 19 month old Elite X3 is still listed for $999!!!

yeah I know, then you have idiots trying to sell a unsupported and sorta abandoned phone for like 600 bucks here on Kijiji... get a good chuckle from those ads...

I'd be willing to give the Elite X3 a try if the price dropped substantially but with how Microsoft is slow to move on the price there won't being anything left to try.

Can only imagine those on Kijiji are trying to recoup their costs for the most part and hoping someone will bite. Way too early in the game for it to have gained "collector" status LOL.

I already own 3 950 XLs, and 1 650. No need. Still interesting that the ads are kinda hidden and that the pricing is no lower then when the debut occurred. Even when they first were released, weren't we able to get the display dock with the 950 XL for like 650.00? If I remember the display dock was 150 by itself. If this is the case these phones better ship with the latest FW, out of the box and better have been assembled/manufactured in at least 2017.

Supply and demand. I'm guessing they have maybe 10-15 phones of each type because that's about how many people would pay that.

I mean the MS Store was selling new 950XLs for $299 in December of 2016.

I don't understand why when you select all phones the lumias don't show up. There the elite x3 comes bundled with display dock for 599. Under. The Lumia link the 950xl is 499. I also see all the 99 idol 4s phones are not listed but the 199 model with vr goggles is.

Enjoying my 99 idol 4s more each day, though the 950xl has always been on my radar, as well the x3 with the lap dock. I am just too cheap to pony up :)

HP is living in a dream world if they think anyone will pay full price now. I understand the cost of the WEB portal is most likely tied in to it somehow, but even that is going to have to be shutdown around the time Microsoft stops maintenance mode on Windows 10 Mobile.

I'm so glad I waited for the no new features announcement to jump on the Acer Jade Primo Desktop Bundle when it fell under $200 US. Here in Canada it was almost $600 at full price.

I say wait, the X3 price will fall and that is when to strike !!! I can see a clear out price of $350 as no stock is moving now . It's going to really hurt the ones on Kijiji trying to get some money out.

I'd pay $200 for a 950xl, no more considering the age and state of W10M. I've been on android for 5 months now and still miss Windows 10M. I've thought about the 99 Idol deal, but my T-Mobile Idol 4S didn't even last a year and the camera is horrible, so don't want to go down that road again.

I definitely want to get my 950xl back in shape, shattered screen... been using the idol 4s and the phone is nice but the camera is frustrating. So much so I dropped it and the back is all smashed up including the camera cover lol. convenient hey? Stupid glass backs.

no thx. definitely not at that price point. especially for an unsupported platform with so many bugs that have not been fixed since early days still.

yes they are on sale again on Msft site, they should be priced lower no doubt, just get from Ebay , ain't rocket science, if they drop prices low to Ebay prices i'm sure one of the Windows Phone following websites will inform us

It's definately odd. They already supposedly cleared their stock, and I doubt MSFT has such a bad inventory system they "lost" some. Old stock would need new batteries, which would cost money (you leave a lithium without charge or discharge for a year or more and it dies), so even if it was old stock, it would have cost them money to do this.

And then there's the price - those aren't stock clearance prices. Those are "we know we can sell these and make money" prices.

IDK, what to make of it.

Unbelievable! They end support for WP, but then decide to sell them at full price? Not only is MS cheap, they are God Damn tacky. Just proves that they could care less about their customers.

Good point on the batteries. If not replaced, they would had to at least inspect each phone being sold, install latest software, etc. This is really strange. I can't imagine they would have ordered more production to restock for sale on MS store unannounced. The only way to access the phones is via the link. I went through all the menus and no way to get to these phones without link. Good material for an X-Files episode. I can't even rationalize why MS would do this now. Could it be an error? Has anyone actually ordered one?

Apparently they have all become not available again now.

So lol, that settles that x-files episode - it was all some error on the webstore end, and they never existed.

Just an error, phew, things are making sense again. Maybe these links have been active the entire time since the Lumias in question were officially canned.
