The native Uber app is going to be dead very soon.

Seems like my time has come and soon I'll be making the switch to an ios device... It was a good time while it lasted, Windows Mobile...

Why couldn't MS make their apps compatible on all their devices? I see several apps constantly getting released for mainstream Windows 10 editions, but not for mobile. They may not care about us Windows Phone believers, but there are still some Windows tablets in the market running Windows Mobile. Why can't they write/port Uber app with UWP or whatever architecture, so at least Windows tablets would gain some market share?

Well, Cortana no longer gives time to work alerts either. I have actually kept my sim in my Essential Phone since I bought it about 6 weeks ago. Windows 10 Mobile is now officially dead to me, although I still consider it one of the best Mobile Operating Systems that ever was. :( I fully reset my Idol 4s and stuck it in the closet, nothing lasts forever.

The Essential Phone I have is something I am content with and I will live with it.
