Cortana in India via developer preview

Hey guys, I know Cortana isn't coming to India officially, but it will be available if I change the region to USA. I have no any problem with US accent, I'm quite good at it, so I want Cortana. But, I'm confused that I should change the region before updating through developer preview or after updating to 8.1?

That's what im thinking. I think it should work. But in just giving an assumption. Maybe someone may help. Or we will get to know tomorrow hopefully!

it doesn't matter.
before or after you update. you can switch region.. restart. then enjoy!

Haha thank you!! Means cortana is downloaded regardless of region and just disabled according to region in d dev preview?

yes you can do it regardless for any update.
You can change whenever you want.
Cortana is US only for now cause the services it provides are linked within US only.

For eg. You are in US and ask flight from New York to LA
Cortana will give you a proper result.
But You are in India and region is changed and asking flight from Delhi to Mumbai, i doubt it will show any results.
Their will be a Few drawbacks of using Cortana Outside US

Okay what about other drawbacks of changing region? Will I be not able to download apps or maybe won't be able to buy them?
