procedure for getting cortana in non uk countries?

Actually i am hearin a no of things,i.e.remove the sim,change the region etc,can anyone tell me the exact procedure please?thanks in advance....

you don't have to remove your SIM card , just go into phone settings/language+region and then change your region to United States and restart your phone , do the same after windows phone 8.1 update , then tap on search button and voila you have cortana speaking to you :smile:
