Cortana Not Working In US [SOLVED]

Hi Guys,

I updated to Windows Phone 8.1 on my L521 and I launched Cortana and said "Hi". Cortana said "Sorry, I'm feeling disconnected. Make sure the date and time are right and that you're signed in to your Microsoft account.". It says this every time on cellular and wi-fi and rebooting doesn't help. I'm in the NYC region. Does it not work in NY yet?

It is out for US so it should work.. is you MS account logged in?

Yes, I'm logged into my Microsoft account.

Nokia account? is your ms account set on US?

I Don't have a Nokia account but my MS account is US

try creating a nokia account as well.. Doubt that is the answer, but you never know btw when you open IE what does it tell you? I had to use the recommended settings which the phone suggested before cortana started working

I'm going to create a Nokia account and I chose reccomended settings in IE

I created Nokia account but still no luck.

Dang.... Your entire phone is set to us? region and language?

Oh and remove any other languages you have installed....

Are you sure your date and time match perfectly, Windows gets messed up when time is date is messed up even the slightest

You're right! Date & time was set t 4/4/14 not 4/14/14. Thanks!
