I don't get this.hey Cortana does not require SD 800 processor but only sensor core.

What's not to get? The double asterisk ✳ ✳ clearly notes at the bottom of the page "only available on the 930, Icon, and 1520"... All which have the SD 800. It's all there in black and white...

"Hey Cortana" is apparently a "Lumia only" feature. If you look at that article again the last part refers to "Unique Lumia experiences available only on Lumia phones"
And I thought the HTC M8 had the 801?

Well that would be stupid if MS only provided that to the Lumia. I have a Lumia too.

Ed Boland and a5cent are correct... 800 and above... Which would allow HTC to use Hey Cortana with the Snapdragon 801 chip it has except Hey Cortana is in the Lumia Firmware and not the core OS... This round at least.

And I'm pretty sure this is the wrong area for this whole thread as it isn't anything to do with Mobile Nations, your account or help with this site...
