For the um-teenth time I accidentally tried to "swipe" characters on my Surface Pro 2 on-screen keyboard right after using my Lumia 928 Denim.

Please confirm that this awesome typing ability will be available in Windows 10?

We can't confirm what we don't know for sure. Hopefully we'll get more tidbits as we get closer to 10's release. (whether in beta/consumer preview, full release)

Maybe we'll see something on the event scheduled for the 21st.

Upvote this on Uservoice. I added a few stuff I would like to see.

The ability to snap a swipe keyboard to the bottom corner

Maybe a more present question is, does the Preview version of 10 floating around out there currently have it?

Latest leak didn't, but I hope the consumer preview will have it.

Not sure if I'd really find Word Flow all that useful on screens that large. That's just me though. But it certainly couldn't hurt to bring it, so I'd be all for it.

Look at my link above and my suggestion on uservoice and upvote.

Not only would I like your word flow swipe keyboard on tablets, but also be able to snap it to a bottom corner, so that you would use it just like on the phone. You could also let the user choose between sizes to get it perfect for each user and device, and obviously set it up for left or right handed use. The opposite side could snap number/symbol board if the user so wishes to enable that."

I just recently got an 8 inch Windows 8 tablet and I continually swipe on it by accident. Would love this feature. Can't imagine they wouldn't take advantage of it.

So, Windows 10 is here and this functionality isn't... any way to get this or do I just need to cross my fingers for a future update?

It is really bizarre that this feature isn't in Windows 10. Especially if you use their smartphone like I do, you expect swiping and it doesn't work. It is even more tedious on a big screen. I guess they figure you can use both hands, but I've got used to swiping. It is quicker on a small screen and I'd be fine doing it that way on a tablet.

Totally agree. I use this on my Lumia 930, why wouldnt i want to use it here?! I also find the placement of the numbers annoying on this keyboard as used to them being at the top on my phone!!
