I think support for a fingerprint scanner built into the touch pad would be a nice addition and a great idea for any person/business with security in mind.

Sorry in advance if this sounds sarcastic... But fingerprints, retina scans & voice recognitions are already things of the past...
Looking into the future I'd say we need something that can pretty much scan our DNA & grant access

What exactly do you mean by 2 in 1? If you're referring to a slate with detachable keyboard, the HP TC1100 was out eons ago with XP Tablet Edition.
