Why is my Windows 10 build 10041 explorer.exe crashing?

Windows 10 build 10041 explorer.exe crashing

hello all, I think this question may have been asked before but just in case.

A: Is there an issue with explorer.exe crashing and reopening on build 10041?
B: Is there a fix for this?
C: how can I get this update because I can't use the main windows explorer UI and Auto updates are turned off?

same, its proving impossible for me to get to the modern UI pc settings interface to open update, as explorer is crashing every second, and i managed to kill explorer, but then i am working via launching command line type stuff from task manager, but none of it will open because explore is killed, catch22! i need to force update somehow.
