Hello, I'm currently running Windows 7 SP1 and I heard that Microsoft will be giving away a free upgrade to Windows 10 for people running a legitimate copy of windows 7 SP1 and above. I wanted to see if that applied to me so I checked slui.exe and it said that the activation was successful and I was able to receive all available updates and product support from Windows. That seemed all fine and good until I checked the "system" window and there was no "Windows activation" section under the "Computer name, domain, and workgroup" settings. So now I'm wondering weather or not I can update to a licensed, genuine version of Windows 10.
