So there has been news on what people running win7 and win8.1 will go to when the W10 RTM is released but what will happen to the insiders will we go to W10 Home or W10 Pro?
Because currently the builds say PRO on them so will we all go to W10 Pro or does it depend on something else?

... depends on your current version (of Win 7 / 8), there s/b an article posted, showing which version, based on what you currently have.

Yes but I'm not on that version any more if I'm running the W10 TP, which is what confused me because it's not mentioned.

I had 8.1 Pro, it gave me 10 Pro.
You still have the license for that version underneath it I think.

I think every insider is on W10 Pro though because I was on win7 Home Premium before now I'm on W10 Pro.

IF you're on Windows 7 Home Premium, you'll get Windows 10 Home (not Pro) based on your license.

I think if you have clean install, you'll not be able to upgrade to activated released version since you haven't bought any Windows license. But if u have your Windows 7/8.1 installation key/box, I'm sure MS support will help you to activate your Windows 10 later, edition is according to your owned license of previous OS.
