SBS 2008 to W10?

Yeah, this is probably a dumb question but here goes. I have two extra computers laying around the house. One has Ubuntu loaded up, the other is the now-retired server from the wife's business rubbing Small Business Server 2008. I would like to get W10 on one of these. This is just a little side project, so I'm not really looking to spend any $$. Any suggestions?

Download and install the Windows 10 preview to ensure it runs well on both systems. It will expire around 10/1 so by then you might decide to purchase it.
