Installing free windows 10 copy on a different drive

July the 29th I would like to install windows 10 on my windows 7 laptop and
my laptop currently has a slow hdd which I would like to replace with an ssd.

Once windows 10 has downloaded I would like to do a clean install on the new ssd.
Will I be able to transfer the Windows 10 install to a usb-drive, so i can install it from that drive after I replaced the hdd with the ssd?
