Cortana not talking to me on update to Windows 10 mobile?

updated from 8.2 to 10.010136 can not get search to talk like cortana. or any texts read to me. Speech says English UK default with English US installed.

I have the same issue, I am just English(US) on default and speech. I don't even see a setting to turn this on or off. Has this function been removed?

Mine started working for some reason. Didn't change anything, it just started working.

How long after you installed 10 did it take to start working?

Hi people,
After upgrading to 100136, when I activate Cortana it shows the message '"I'm sorry, speech failed to start, try again later" . I have my lumia 930 set to English US with Brazil Portuguese installed but not active. Any clues?? I really miss it for setting my daily reminders and is the only thing (until now) that might make me downgrade again.
