how did you format your USB drive using the windows usb tool or third party tool

are to trying to install in EXTERNAL HDD if no
than go to the recovery console
boot using the dvd or usb once you reach the INSTALL screen select Repair at the than open command promote
choose the C drive or the windows install location than
run command on chkdsk/f and chkdsk/r.

I used third party tool Rufus.. I did try checking disk yesterday... I also tried scanning the usb drive, but to no avail... I will try again today after reaching home

where did you download the iso from?

Microsoft website?

I just created a bootable hard disk yesterday and boots 10130 from it.

I did it manually with command prompt. But rufus is great though.

Only thing I could think of is that your iso is corrupted.

Yeah from Microsoft website.... Guess I will have to download it again.. Let me check
