    I am not a geek and use the computer for e-mails, some excel spreadsheets for work, downloading audiobooks from the library, and paying bills . Games from time to time and on-line purchases. That's about it.

    Windows 10 should have much of what you liked from Windows 7. If you are considering it, you can upgrade for free when Win10 is released. You can try it, and if you don't like it, go back to Windows 7.

    If that sounds like too much work to you, you may be perfectly happy remaining on Windows 7 until other considerations sway you to change.

    You could always run the windows 10 iso in virtualbox or similar to see if you like it?

    Windows 10 is a mixture of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
