Can I get some help with the Windows 10 download?

When checking the win 10 download on my lumia 640 it states that the software is "Windows 10 mobile insider preview" shouldn?t it have loaded the final finished software ?

And it is like swimming thro treacle

No only for the PC Windows 10 is final. For Mobile it is still a preview. The date for final W10 for Mobile is not know yet but is probable around October/November.
So if you do not like the preview on yoor mobile you could try a hard reset to see if it "improves" or roll back to WP8.1 and wait for the final version.
