the power issues that were resolved during testing?? Weren't!!

Actual install and my laptop is having all sorts of power issues. Drains battery overnight? Shutting the lid freezes it and I have to hold down power button (still lit) to switch off and then switch back on etc.

Obviously something not right in full launch? I read there were issues during testing and there was a patch issued.

Not very tech savvy but any help or suggestions appreciated. It's a new HP Pavillion.

Sorry - additional info - my desktop (same upgrade path to 10) is doing the same thing - I left it switched on while I was on the laptop and couldn't get it back on without using the power button too
