Why can't I run Cortana?

can not run cortana

I have a brand new Lenovo laptop which came with windows 8.1 upgraded to windows 10 the Cortana feature will not work it says it it is not supported in my region the uk which is odd as I upgraded my desktop pc and the Cortana feature works fine any ideas or appreciated

I am having the exact same problem. My first PC I upgraded to Windows 10 works fine with Cortana but the second PC keep telling me that Cortana is not available in this country.
I have set everything exactly the same on each PC but still no luck.
I have read about it on Microsoft's forums and it seems like a ton of ppl are having the same problem.

I had the same problem, I found installing English UK Language pack fixed it.
