Re: how to know my reserved windows 10 is already downloading?

There are at least three ways which you can check if your Windows 10 has started to be downloaded:
1. Check the size of your (C:) > Windows > SoftwareDistribution > Download folder - it should be greater than 3 GB.
2. Monitor your (C:) > $Windows.~BT hidden folder, if it is there at all. Once Windows 10 has been successfully downloaded to your PC, this hidden folder shall start to increase in size.
3. Check your network activity through Task Manager - if your PC network activity suggests that your PC has been downloading something although you're not actually downloading anything (no pages being loaded, no active file downloads, etc.), then your PC is most probably downloading the needed files for your upgrade to Windows 10.

Should you have further questions, don't hesitate to create a Windows Central account and respond to this thread.
