    I saw a few posts on this issue and I have it too.
    I just realized that setting a custom display scaling via the old method (from the control panel) causes the re-sized tiles to stop working. Only medium sized tiles work.

    Unfortunately the DPI set from the settings app doesn't display things properly in my laptop, I need to use 205% to make things look proper but cant do that from the settings app. I have to wait till I get a fix.

    The tiles work properly only for the scaling values available in the settings app. At least as far as I have seen.
