That sounds to me like a hardware comparability problem. Might I suggest contacting Toshiba and inquiring about Windows 10 comparability with the drivers used in the stereo hardware?

My guess is that they'll have you reinstall driver software. And if that doesn't work, you may need to refresh/reset Windows 10.

I have a Toshiba Satellite P50t-b with DTS and had the same problem after upgrading from 8.1 to 10. I downloaded (from the Toshiba Site) and reinstalled the latest version of the IDT Audio Driver and this fixed the problem.

I have a Toshiba Satellite P50t - B as well. Just wanted to confirm that is the Windows 10 upgrade bug free now, as there were rumours that the device used to go in a restart loop once upgraded. I am keen on upgrading my copy of Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.

    Thanks :)
