Hello and Welcome to Windows Central.

The current state of the Technical Preview for Phones is still targeted towards developers, not the general public. This is the reason why it still has a lot of bugs and missing features. Microsoft doesn't recommend installing the Technical Preview on your phone if you're not technically equipped and if you plan on installing it on your primary device/daily driver.

Although you may always roll back to WP8.1, there have been numerous reports after rolling back certain features of the phone were no longer working.

The best advice would be to wait for the official release of Windows 10 for Windows Phones, most probably towards the end of 2015 or the start of 2016.
