Where do I get a product key?

Hi all

Hoping for a little urgent help to a Windows 10 problem...

Last week I received a message from MS saying my Windows 10 update was ready to install. I clicked the little windows button and away it went without a hitch...

However, somewhere a gremlin got loose and has brought my trusty old laptop to its knees. About an hour into work today the machine started going all weird... websites hanging, network kept dropping, windows freezing, random restarting, etc...basically the machine croaked.

Eventually I shut the machine down and from there it just refused to boot....

I headed onto the Microsoft website and downloaded W10 onto a USB to do a re-install, which has worked so far up to a point.... it's now asking me for a product key??

Any idea where I'd find this?

Do not enter the product key; there's a link/button thingy for skipping it.

If the machine on which you're doing the clean install is the machine you upgraded to Windows 10, your CD key is stored in the cloud with Microsoft, and it will authorize automatically.
