1520 and Band 2

I have a 9 month old 1520 running W10 Mobile 10512. The preview has understandable flaws but I know all will be fixed soon.

My question is since Band 2 will likely run W10, will it work as well with my 1520 vs a 950XL or other new flagship. I really dont intend on "upgrading" from my 1520 but I do want the Band 2, my hope is that a new flagship won't be needed...

Does is anyone have any insights on this as I haven't found any info ...thanks!

I'm certain it will work with all previous wp devices running windows 10

Thanks. I am hoping in some way it's not limited. From what I have seen i see no huge advantage that 950XL will have over my beloved 1520

theres a lot of advantages, but, the 1520 is quite a beast, it would be hard to see the upgrades unless your game on it.

So the reporting that 1520 may not get W10 outside of the Insiders builds, does that mean it won't get all of the functionality of the next flagship? I just don't want to buy Band 2 and then be stuck having to buy the 950XL or whatever the next flagship is....

1520 probably wont get some things, it definatley wont get continuum, I don't see it being gimped unless necessary though, the 1520 has been used quite a bit in development for 10, pretty early on in w10's tp the 1520 was getting new features before other devices, things like one handed mode and floating keyboard first showed up on the 1520, so its pretty obvious Microsoft is using the 1520 has one of (if not not their go to) test device(s) so basically, if the hardware can handle it, it will probably get it.

don't worry so much though, just wait til the band 2 launches and hang around these forums for a week, you'll know weather or not it has issues with the 1520.
