Why am I unable to Zoom on the Touchpad on my laptop?

Unable to Zoom on Touchpad on my laptop.

Ok so I'm not sure when it happened but I was still on windows 8.1 at the time. I'm now on Windows 10 and I can still not zoom with the touchpad on my Laptop

Now its not the end of the world as if I use a mouse I am still able to zoom. but this has been bugging me and I have looked online and cant find anything.
I have opened mouse properties and then gone onto device setting and clicked setting and there is no option for zooming where is should be.
I have Synaptics TouchPad V8.1 on PS/2Port.

I think this is the latest version. I cant seem to find anything else.
Any help is welcome thank you.

I had similar issues, then did a clean install and everything started working. My laptop went from the device the family didn't want to use, to one of the best in the house. Family fights over it now!

works with my hp laptops, install it directly using device manager and block windows update from overwriting it with their crap
it has every swype, gesture and multi touch inputs you could think of

Will this work with notebooks... specifically the Asus Transformer Book T100ta?
