    Hi All,
    I Upgraded to Win 10 PRO last month from 8.1 and it was a smooth affair until last week that is..
    I have a Sony Vaio with I5 Intel Processor, 4 GB RAM & AMD GPU...
    so, all of a sudden last week, most of Microsoft Applications stopped working or responding when initiated..
    The list is : Start Menu, Cortana, Notification bar, Groove, EDGE, Image & Video players (Default),STORE and even the settings menu as I tried
    to REFRESH the OS..
    On a surprising Note, all third party applications like VLC, POWER DVD player, Opera & Chrome work just fine..
    I can access my files from the explorer, and the rest functions normally EXCEPT the aforementioned Microsoft applications..

    I am at a wits end, hence solicit help from this forum..

    Run the Store Troubleshooter in the control panel.
