I did upgrade to windows 10 from windows 8.1 but found that my favourate games would not run on full screen but only in a window.... (X2 the Treat, X3 games....)

Did find a few anoying problems with the start menu but can see there would be improvment so could live with it.

But the fullscreen problem drove me mad so reverted back to 8.1.

Have microsoft solved this problem yet..?

Or should I continue to stay on 8.1...?

Windows 10 works fine for many people.... how can they know your "issues" it seems you upgraded, no clean installed or anything. that means YOUR computer is causing some conflicts with Windows 10, causing it to have bugs. once you clean install everything will run fine. that's how upgrades work, they are not the best and will never be.

about the games, well... maybe you should go to their forums, maybe people will not have those issues, maybe they do? maybe it was a driver problem and you are blaming on Windows 10? again, Windows 10 works perfectly fine here, better than 7 and 8 ever did, so maybe my computer is magical or maybe it's people upgrading and thinking upgrades are a secure thing. let's be honest, if upgrades on phones sometimes need a hard reset, windows with all registry changes and system files changes and programs changing whatever they want sometimes it makes it harder for upgrades to be better.

So I would rather ask people who play these games on the forum if they have problems with fullscreening on Windows 10.

But let's accept most Windows 10 problems come from upgrades and not the Windows 10 itself, since clean installed works always better.

Try toggling on tablet mode and see if it makes them fullscreen, this works for games such as Age of Empires castle siege.
