Can I use my windows 8.1 recovery disc to rollback from windows 10 after one month?

When i bought my laptop it had windows 8.1 and I received a windows recovery disc. So if after a month of using windows 10, will i be able to roll back to 8.1 using the recovery disc or will i have to do a clean install?

After 30 days, it will always be a clean install, or an installation based on a recovery disc... or, basically, it won't be as simple as a "roll back" where you would find your PC at the state it was in just before you upgraded to Windows 10 - everything would have to be reinstalled based on some OS installation media.
