    Windows Insider Fast on my SurfacePro 2 with type cover. Recently updated to 10586 and other updates that I didn't pay much attention to. Now my type keyboard is dead. Went to MS store and they tested the kb on other SPs and verified that the kb functions normally. Could I have lost a driver or something? I cannot find a driver listed in Devices. Any suggestions.

    Thanks for your post. This is the only place I've been able to confirm my suspicion that an update may have broke my keyboard.

    I picked up my Surface to take to a social gathering, when I arrived and turned it on it told me updates successfully installed. Note I had to login with touch because keyboard wasn't working. I've tried cleaning the contacts, restarting, etc. but no change.

    Have you found a fix yet? I'll play once I get home.

    Sorry, I posted elsewhere with no response and forgot about this. Tried resetting to prev build and then complete refresh...nothing helps. Just got update to build 11082...no change.
