Text Messaging from Windows 10 Desktop November Update?

So, I updated to the November update, I have windows 10 mobile running on my ICON... and I can't figure out how to send a text from Cortana on my Surface to other people. Help?

I've tried signing up for the fast ring insider view on my surface, and no updates there.

Cortana keeps saying she can only help me send text messages from a phone.

Awesome, thanks for the move, Mr. Mod... still curious as to how to send the text messages though. Can't find it under computer settings or cortana settings.

Just type text "contactname" "messagecontent" and it should activate replacing the quoted stuff with whatever you want to send.

Are you sure that you got updated to the fall update? Type winver and it should read Version 1511.

Yup, got it working... just now a constant Malware detection of Browser Modifier: Win32/diplugem... whatever that is. I'll figure that out tomorrow. One problem at a time.
