Upgrade to Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586 stalls at 40%

After a rollback windows update found the 1511 update and went through the install again only to once again hang at 40%. Rolled back again but this time windows update gives the message "your computer is up to date" but it's not, the update has not been installed.

So my position is this. I cannot now download and install any updates.

Please help

In this case, it seems that you would need to wait for at least another three days for your computer to be queued up again for download.

In my case, the first attempt to install this build ended in an error... then checking my PC for updates said that it was "up to date", but after reading some information I just waited for my PC to be "eligible" again for the download, which happened after 3-4 days.
