Why does Cortana keep popping up

Just installed Windows 10 on my Dell 6320 laptop the other day and now Cortana keeps popping up with " How can I help you?" when I'm on any webpage. It will go away if I don't respond but it does it again a few seconds later. I haven't set any reminders or anything else like that but it keeps happening. It happens when I am moving the cursor and it locks up my cursor for a couple seconds each time. Cortana is becoming very annoying, very fast. I knew I should have stayed with Windows 7!

Does anybody know of a fix for this?

Re: Why does Cortana keep popping up

Can you check Cortana > Notebook > Settings and see if "Hey, Cortana" is enabled - disable it if it is enabled.

You can prevent her from bothering you altogether by turning of "Cortana can give you reminders...".
