why does Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586 install need to remove cypress track pad

Have tried to install Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586 update. It fails saying cypress track pad must be uninstalled as it is incompatible. I have uninstalled but windows update installation thinks it is still installed. The installation process says it cannot uninstall the cypress track pad as access is denied to file .../trackpad/unins000.dat
