How do I transfer photos from Android phone to Windows 10 without losing the original create date?

I would like to transfer photos from my android phone to my windows 10. But when I do the original create date on the photo disappears. I need the date to remain on the photos for a legal situation. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

The date is still there in the photo properties of each picture. The two platforms probably use a different method to sort. In windows phone the date is part of the file name in addition to being included in the properties of the photo.
On a PC you can right click a photo and select properties to get the date.

I get most of my pics from Android to W10 using OneDrive. Date in Windows Explorer is unchanged.

In properties, Date Created/Modified is the upload date, but Date Taken, in the Details tab, s/b unchanged, still the actual date the photo was taken.
