Outlook mail and calendar app taking long time to download message and pictures

So i am not the only one who waits for what feels like an eternity (i know a slight exaggeration!) when i click the "download message and pictures" when using the outlook mail and calendar app in Windows 10 Mobile?

i know, also, that i could leave this to always download,,,, but that leaves me to the mercy of spam messages that then get alerted that that i downloaded their images.

Other functions of the mail app seem to be mostly quick enough, apart from this and the general "sync" request that i perform manually sometimes

I am using 10586.29 on a 950XL (unlocked)

*bump* - nobody else have this issue? or have anything for me to try to help?

Yeah, me too. I sometimes have to try multiple times just to get relatively small attachments (under 1 Mb) to download.

for me it seems to be the same whether im on cellular or wifi connection - so no connection related.
Outlook mail (hotmail etc) seems much faster than my Yahoo mail....
so i wonder if its the type of email and not just the email provider?
