Windows 10 Issues-File Explorer

I'm having issues with Windows 10 File Explorer:
* when I right-click on a file, the menu come up really slowly or not at all.
* if the menu doesn't come up at all, file explorer locks up.
* The start menu has lost the icons for Microsoft Office 2013 applications - they just appear as blank squares.

I'm having many other issues, and don't know if they are related. Example, If I launch two Word 2013 windows, they both lock up.

I haven't seen this before. Kinda sounds like your PC is having a hard time with the various processes. May I ask what kind of computer you have and what model?
