    On one of the first pages of the install there were selection boxes to keep or remove personal files. Remember this or did you just click 'next'

    Ouch. Hopefully you opted to keep your files and did an upgrade, and not a fresh install. If you upgraded, there's an option to revert back to the previous install. Windows 10 usually gives you 30 days. They may still be there.

    Go to Settings > Updated and Recovery > Recovery > Go Back to Earlier Build.

    Otherwise, you'll have to hunt around your hard drive for them in Windows File Explorer. Check under "C DRIVE > Windows.old > Users > (YOUR USER FOLDER NAME)"
