That thread is about dates, and that thread can go on till end of 2016 (or even after that).
In this thread, we should get to know if anybody actually got update today. In US 17 March is just started, but in Australia already half of the day of 17 March is over.

Exactly, and as you'd like to know the update situation as of March 17th (a date), that thread is where this inquiry belongs. There are a million reasons to start scattering very similar threads across multiple forums, but I think most would prefer to have any information on the topic of release dates collected in one place, for all our convenience.

I will attempt to summarize the state of the roll out in that thread, so keeping everything in one spot, so I can use a single source rather than having to scour the forums is a big help for me too.
