How do I get my cursor back in Windows 10?

I lost my cursor-I have windowa 10

Cursor appears for ten seconds when I turn the computer on and then disappears. Why?

Hit your windows button so the pop up menu appears > type in mouse& TouchPad setting > your computer will search for it > hit the tab key and you should be able to scroll through the options in that window > go down to additional mouse options and hit enter to open it > select the last tab (this should be the built in mouse pad) (still using tab to jump through the options) Select "enable device". This should highlight your mouse pad or "smart pad"
