Windows 10 and updates, any help?

Windows 10 and updates

Have Windows 10 running fine but updates are a problem - all updates install OK EXCEPT cumulative updates which will not install.
Have tried all the "fixes" which are available on the net but none of them work - since as it is Windows 10 does everything I want am I missing out on much??
Grateful for any assistance

Could you tell us the KB number of the cumulative update? What error message did you get when installing?

the cumulative update currently trying to install is KB 3140768 and the error is 0x80073712 - but KB 3140741 installed OK
