Why can't I upgrade to Windows 10?

Cannot upgrade to windows 10

Trying to upgrade window 7 ultimate to windows 10, did all the windows 7 updates before, then downloaded the install tool. Now I get a " there was a problem starting the setup. Close the tool, restart your PC and then try running the tool again.

Now I have tried everything but I just cant get Windows 10 to install. Please can anybody give me some tips/help?

Have you tried booting form a USB and installing that way?

Also search online about your particular PC model, there is an issue with some hardware. A Samsung laptop I did had this issue and it turned out the WiFi card was at fault, a known incompatibly, and changing it solved the problem.
