Those of you who have bought the BluWinHD can now upgrade to Windows 10. The question is should you. Curiously enough my experience indicates that you should avoid the production version of Windows 10 and instead go for the Fast Ring Insider Preview. The production version 10586 still contains the showstopper bug where the phone takes forever to load or resume. All you see is Loading... on the screen sometimes for hours. This is a bug that was quashed in the Insider Preview a long time ago. So upgrade to Windows 10 and before your first reboot, go to the Store and download Windows Insider. Log into that and sign up for the Fast Ring. This will take you to version 14295 which works quite well with the BluWinHD. Who would guess that the Fast Ring would be more stable than the production version?
Other key points are during the initial install don't restore settings from your Window 8.1 backups and if you hit any issues, do a full Factory Reset. Start Fresh. This typically eliminates any performance issues. Version 14295 is fast and responsive with the BluWinHD. Just remember that if you have any custom APN or wireless settings and passwords, to write them down before you start this whole process.
